During Saturday’s 5:00pm Mass, we were joined by our OCIA class of 2026 as we celebrated the first of the three Scrutiny Rites as they make their journey towards Easter Vigil and full communion with the Catholic Church. Over the next few weeks, on the Fourth and Fifth Sundays of Lent, Scrutiny Rites will also be celebrated at each one of our Sunday morning Masses. Be sure to say “hi” to our OCIA class of 2026 and keep them in your prayers!
(The Scrutinies are Rites celebrated on the Third, Fourth and Fifth Sundays of Lent, by those people who are preparing to enter into the Church at Easter. They are important and special rites of the Church.)
