Funerals

"For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his." Romans 6:5

The Christian funeral is a liturgical celebration of the Church. The ministry of the Church in this instance aims at expressing efficacious communion with the deceased, at the participation in that communion of the community gathered for the funeral, and at the proclamation of eternal life to the community. (CCC 1684)

At St. Victoria, we want to accompany families during such a difficult time. In addition to the pastoral ministry that Father provides, the parish offers many services to help families plan a meaningful funeral that celebrates their loved one’s life. Services may include a visitation, Mass, burial/inurnment, luncheon based on the desires of the family.

Plots and niches in the current cemetery are limited, and priority will be for families that have immediate burial needs. Those who would like to be placed on a waitlist in the adjacent cemetery may make a refundable $500 deposit per grave or niche and will also reserve the current pricing levels.
