Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at St. Victoria includes Faith Formation for our 9th & 10th graders as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.  It also provides opportunities for youth in middle school and high school to grow in their faith through events focusing on Scripture, service, fellowship and friendship in Christ.

For specific information on the Confirmation program, visit our Confirmation page.

Registering with the Faith Formation program here at St. Victoria is your opportunity to involve the parish as you pass your amazing Catholic Faith on to your children.  St. Victoria Faith Formation Programs are designed to help children age-appropriately experience what it means to be “Catholic,” not only in the classroom, but also through activities that introduce children to liturgy, prayer, principles of Catholic Social Justice, and acts of charity and service to others.

All Faith Formation classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with the following sessions times.
Session I Grades K-8:  5:00 p.m.
Session II Grades K-8:  6:30 p.m.
Session III Grades 9-10:  7:40 p.m. Confirmation Program

Tuition for St. Victoria’s Faith Formation program is based on the cost of providing the program.  All registration materials will be mailed to all currently registered Faith Formation families by the first week of July.  Tuition for the 2011-2012 Faith Formation year is $75 per child if received by the early bird registration date of August 1.   After August 1 it is $80.  No child is denied the right to Faith Formation based on their inability to pay.  Non-parishioners are welcome to participate in St. Victoria’s program and are charged a tuition fee of $150 per child.

Sacramental preparation fees are charged in addition to the above tuition fees to cover materials, retreats and other costs associated with preparing children for Sacraments.  Everyone, including all volunteers, pays Sacramental Fees.  Financial assistance is available upon request and a schedule of flexible payments may be arranged.  The following Saraments typically are prepared for in the following grades, but those children who are older and need to be “caught up” in a specific Sacrament are also welcome to register for the Sacrament that is needed.
Grade 2:    First Reconciliation ($50 fee)
Grade 2:    First Communion ($60 fee)
Grade 9:    Year 1 Confirmation ($120 fee)
Grade 10:  Year 2 Confirmation ($120 fee)
