April 18, Wednesday
Faith Formation Sessions
As we did on February 1, we are again making 1,000 sandwiches for Project 363 on April 18. Mr. Law, the man who started Project 363, will be with us that night to share a few encouraging words with our young people. He will then take the sandwiches we make and deliver them that very night to people living on the streets. What a powerful witness for our young people to reach out as the face and hands of Jesus!
About Project 363–Make a Difference
Each year programs are available during Thanksgiving and Christmas to help feed, clothe and take care of those less fortunate. An honest qustion, pondered by those who started this wonderful program: What happens the other 363 days of the year? Project 363 was established with the other days in mind. When Project 363 first started, they were serving 150 homeless people in Minneapolis as may times a year as possible, with the ultimate goal of doing it every day of the year. Today, Project 363 feeds about 2,000 people per day.
