Eucharistic Adoration FAQ
What is Eucharistic Adoration?
It is, simply put, a time to be alone with God. Think of it as a time of quiet prayer that you can spend any way you wish. Some suggestions on how to spend the time: bring your own prayers or books; read from the material available near the sign- in binder or Scripture readings, pray the Rosary, or sit, relax and enjoy the peace that comes from being in the presence of the Lord.

Who goes to Eucharistic Adoration?
Any one who wants to pray! Many of our participants choose a time slot that they commit to and attend every Thursday during that time. Adoration at St.Victoriacommences at the end of Daily Mass on Thursdays and concludes at 8 p.m. (8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.)

What if I commit to a half hour time slot but can’t make it one week?
We have a substitute list that you can call on, or you are welcome to trade time slots with another committed participant if it works for both of you. Our goal is to have at least two committed participants per time slot just in case something comes up last minute and there isn’t time to line up a substitute.

Why go to Eucharistic Adoration?
In these hectic and stressful times we live in, we need to pray for ourselves and for each other. Our needs are endless, just as our prayers are endless! This is a wonderful way to deepen our friendship and bond with Our Lord! It will rejuvenate you spiritually and mentally!

Where is Eucharistic Adoration held?
In the Historic Church at St.Victoria.

Can I try going to Eucharistic Adoration before I commit?
Yes! Absolutely try it out! Please sign in as a Walk-in. Many are surprised at the natural fit of Adoration in their Thursdays. You are also welcome as a substitute on our growing list.

Can my children go to Eucharistic Adoration with me?
Yes, certainly! They can bring their own quiet time prayer books too. Don’t forget to talk to them ahead of time about it being quiet so they aren’t surprised. Maybe they can even occasionally light a votive candle while you supervise.

We are looking for someone to fill the 2:30 PM time slot.
