Project 363 Update:  Thanks to our K-8^th grade children and your generosity, 500 people on the streets of Minneapolis and St. Paul  had something to eat last night.  Steve Ozzie, the assistant to Mr. Law who started Project 363, was with us at Faith Formation last night to share his gratitude to our kids for making 1,000 sandwiches.  They rarely see a donation of this magnitude in one evening and he wanted to be here to see our 6^th- 8^th graders at work.  Everyone in our Faith Formation program was involved.  Our younger kids made labels with words like ”God Loves You”, ”Someone is thinking of you”, “Enjoy” and more. A label was placed on each sandwich bag as words of encouragement to those who would eat the sandwich.  Our older kids actually made the 1,000 sandwiches.  Mr. Ozzie waited for all the sandwiches to be finished and then he rushed them downtown to Mr. Law so that they could be delivered between the hours of 10 p.m. and 3a.m. last night. Take a moment to talk to your kids about this experience.  They did great – we are so proud of them!  We were all born to be a blessing to each other – and our kids blessed many last night.  Because of the incredible success of this outreach program, we will be making more sandwiches for Project 363 before the end of our Faith Formation year.  God is Good!
